Counselling & Therapy
Counselling
Conversation-based support for children, teens and adults — in person and online.
- In person · Bellandur, Bangalore
- Online individual sessions
What it involves
Counselling is a confidential conversation with a trained listener, giving you time and space to talk through what is on your mind and to think about it more clearly.
Meena has worked as a counsellor for 35 years. Her work began after the loss of a dear friend led her to Sumaitri, a crisis intervention centre in Delhi, and has since extended to work with individuals, organisations, educational institutions and psychology students.
How Meena works
“A strong counselling approach centres on active listening, empathy and treating the individual as the true expert on their own life. Sessions provide a safe, non-judgemental space where people can freely explore their thoughts and emotions at their own comfortable pace. The main goal is to support personal growth and help clients discover their own practical solutions.”
Who it is for
Meena works with children, teens and adults.
For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian needs to make the first contact and give consent. Sessions for children and teens may be in person or online, depending on the situation.
